We sat down with Ste Nixon, Lion Lawns Director, and asked him what he thought of 2018. Here he answers our questions…

How was 2018 for Lion Lawns?

2018 was excellent for Lion Lawns. We had so many highs and some really good projects. What was most satisfying is that we had a variety of different size projects, big and small. We had the opportunity to work with some wonderful customers and a good variation of different materials, as opposed to previous years.

What challenges did you face at the company? And how were these overcome?

Working outside is always a challenge in itself.

First of all, time isn’t always on your side. The weather can sometimes hold us up but we aim to get every job complete on time, even if that means working throughout the weekend which we did a number of times, but luckily we have great staff who are willing to go that extra mile for the customer.

Another change we made during 2018 was our supplier of some materials. This is in an aim of keeping the costs down to you, our customer. Materials are constantly going up in price but we want to keep this to an absolute minimum on all of our jobs.

What are you hoping for 2019?

Continuation of hard working and motivated staff who share our values of flawless customer service. I always hope for a good variation of work and lots of sunshine too!
