Gardens are often quickly outdated but what if you can use what you already have, to create something much more modern. Artificial grass for lawns is a perfect option. We coupled this with a power brush of the existing paving slabs and a ‘garden tidy’ to transform the overall look of the garden in our Darlington case study.

Darlington Artificial Lawn

This large market town in County Durham is just 24 miles from our Stokesley based warehouse and as we cover the local area for artificial lawn installation, we were happy to take on the job!

Seeing the old garden, we realised it was in need of a revamp and to make it a little easier to look after for our clients. So, the team set to work!

There were two garden areas separated by a path in a rectangular shape. The previous surface was an old natural grassed area which was very difficult to keep on top of. Artificial grass for lawns is no nuisance and protected in all-weather types. Plus, at Lion Lawns we guarantee the product for 8 years and the install for 2 so you can have peace of mind.

After the turf removal process. The crushed limestone base is ready to be laid and compacted onto a weed membrane which will be fitted onto the natural soil.

The artificial grass is then fitted onto the surface. This time it was 22.8 square metres of Finesse Lite. With a lower pile height standing at 22mm this is perfect for more frequent use.

The new garden is passed by many local pedestrians and we are sure the new lawn will catch a few glimpses!

The whole garden can be given a complete new look with artificial grass for lawns. Our clients were very happy with their new low maintenance lawn and we are pleased to tell them that it’ll last up to 20 years!

Well done team Lion Lawns!
